FLEXOPTIX | Africa Lead
Portia Rabonda is the Africa Lead at FLEXOPTIX, where she has been engaging with and supporting IXPs and network operators globally since starting her role in 2019. She is responsible for market development, customer relations and community engagement in Africa.
Introduced to the Internet industry in 2014 through working with SAFNOG (Southern Africa Network Operators Group), Portia is passionate about building and supporting communities that drive sustainable Internet growth in Africa.
She currently serves on the African IXP Association (AFIX) Board of Directors, as well as on Programme Committees for the South African Peering Forum (ZAPF), the Nigeria Peering and Interconnection Forum (ngPIF), and other NOGs across Africa.
