Securing Internet Routing - The Puzzle Pieces

Route leaks and route hijacks continue to destabilise the global routing system, with significant consequences for network operators and their customers. This talk reviews the full toolkit of mechanisms available to secure Internet routing — including RPKI, Route Origin Authorisations (ROAs), BGPsec, IRR filtering and emerging proposals — examining how these puzzle pieces fit together, where each tool excels, and the practical and organisational challenges that still stand in the way of universal adoption.
